Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Garland/Dallas

I have been here for several months and my stay has been very pleasant. I have had the pleasure of meeting the owners who are very nice and don't mind meeting the needs of their guest. My A/C unit went out and it was replaced immediately. The entire from guest services to the cleaning staff are awesome. I'm glad that I can have a clean room at all times as well as great customer service. That's very important in this day and time to be treated equal.

My room was very private and clean. The bed was comfortable. The lobby and hallways were clean. The hotel remained pretty quiet throughout the night. The lobby door was kept locked to keep away undesirable groups from trashing the place. I felt safe even though the neighborhood was questionable. Will stay again.

The hotel was very very clean. I really appreciated how clean it was. We stayed on a Thursday evening and the lady who was working at the front desk was very kind and helpful. I would stay here again. The room and location were great. There is a complementary breakfast that we didn't eat, but it's only things like cereal and juice. There are no hot breakfast foods served. This was not a deal breaker for us and would stay here again in the future.

You get what you pay for. Don't expect 5 star quality when you're paying for a 3 star room. The room was fine,we had to request extra pillows,but once we got them the bed was comfortable. The front desk guy wasn't rude,but he wasn't overly friendly. I'd stay again. I'd also recommend this place to friends and family,but let them know that it's nothing fancy or special,just a room to sleep in.

I had double beds and the room was decent. Good cable channels. Big bathroom. The beds will eat up just about anything you will put on it so be prepared to lose things, but they are comfortable. I did see a few bugs but NO roaches and NO bed bugs. Their were brown spot strains on the bottom of every door in the hotel. The breakfast is good if you are on the go. I didn't know that I would have to pay a $50 deposit and wouldn't be able to get it back until 3 to 5 business days after check out. Other than that I felt safe and I would stay here again. I don't know why people are saying it's a bad neighborhood when it's not.

I'm really only giving a review for the staff, mainly the manager, Dilan, because I didn't stay here. I only fixed their juice machine. A lot of places I go to that have the problem that they had here get very mad, because the problem requires the machine be defrosted for 3 days before being able to fix it, and most managers just can't understand that. Management here was very understanding and patient, and even nice about it. I can tell you from experience, if the staff is nice to a service technician, they will definitely be nice and accommodating to their customers.

The name of Microtel tells you much. Yes, the rooms are small. But the service and amenities are just as good as a 4-5 star hotel. Workers are very nice and friendly. No issue that can't be fixed or amended here. Oh and by the way, the water pressure is more than adequate, making for a GREAT shower experience. This is my go to when in the area. Price, cleanliness, service. All top notch.

I was very iffy about this hotel after reading the reviews but was in dire need so I decided to go for it. First off, I was kinds disappointed that they made me pay a $50 deposit for a $76 room. So in all I spent $126 for the night. Again, I was desperate so I went for it. When I walked in the room I was impressed being the area wasn't so nice. The rooms were kinda small but very neat and homey. In fact I liked it so much I stayed another night! I asked them could I switch rooms because originally I had gotten a 2 bed room. It was only me and my husband so all we needed was one bed. I asked could he just give me the one bedroom suite since it would be the same price. He got me a room fairly quickly. The one bedroom suite was even better although I must say the couch could be improved but overall they were great. The front desk guy even made me coffee late in the evening since I only had decaf in my room.
